Dot Family Health Centers

Family Health Centers (FHC) offer quality care at little to no cost to Dot employees and their family members (ages 2 and up) enrolled in Dot’s health insurance. New employees who enroll in Dot’s medical plan and have access to a Family Health Center are eligible to receive services through that provider on day one of employment.

FHCs are run by third party health care providers. Having the facility run by an outside provider means your medical records and health information stay private. Dot cannot access any employee or dependent health information through the FHC.

After two appointments at the hospital, my doctors wanted me to have blood work done. I didn’t want to drive to Quincy, so I called the Family Health Center (FHC) and had my doctor fax over the order. After two panels of blood, an EKG, and another set of labs, I was shocked when I paid my bill and it was only $22.40. People don’t realize the savings we get at our FHC.
