Insurance Options
At Dot, we understand that even with strong benefits in place, life can throw you a curveball. Sometimes it’s an injury, an illness, a legal challenge, or even an unexpected expense for a beloved pet. These moments can bring emotional stress, and often financial strain.
Voluntary insurance options give you extra layers of protection so you can focus on getting back on your feet instead of worrying about how to cover the bills. These plans are offered at group rates and are completely optional—you choose what makes sense for you and your family.
Life Insurance
Life insurance is one of the ways Dot Foods helps support you and your family’s financial security. We offer several coverage options designed to provide peace of mind and protection when it matters most.
Available coverage options include:
- Basic Employee Life Insurance – Company-provided coverage for eligible employees at no cost.
- Supplemental Employee Life Insurance – Optional additional coverage you may elect for yourself.
- Spouse Life Insurance – Optional coverage available for your spouse.
- Child Life Insurance – Optional coverage available for eligible dependent children.
Coverage elections can typically be made during open enrollment or following a qualifying life event.
Note: All optional life insurance coverage amounts are subject to approval by the insurance carrier.
