Meet the Vidalia Team

Daniel Dasher
Physician Assistant
Daniel is a board-certified physician assistant who has practiced primary
care since 2018. He obtained his graduate degree from South University in
Savannah, GA. He and his wife Ashley of 16 years currently live in Vidalia and
have 6 children. Daniel is an active member of his church where he serves as
a small group leader and a musician on the worship team. His pastimes
include fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family.

Michelle Durbin
Medical Assistant
Michelle has 25 years of experience
working as a medical assistant.
She is originally from Ohio and
has worked at the Dot FHC since December 2021.
Michelle works at the front desk greeting patients
and assists in the back with clinical duties as
needed. She enjoys interacting with the employees
and their families at the Family Health Center. In
her free time, she enjoys spending time with her
husband and fur babies, as well as gardening.

Alesia Parrish
Licensed Practical Nurse
Alesia began her nursing career
at the Dot FHC in August 2014
as a PRN nurse. Most recently,
she has worked part-time at the Canoochee
Health and Wellness Center. During that time,
she occasionally provided coverage at the Dot
FHC. She’s thrilled to be back, as of May 2024!
Alesia has been married to her husband, Tony,
more than 36 years. She loves being “Nanna”
to her beautiful grandchildren, reading, and
sharing in volunteer Bible education work.

Free At The FHC
Annual Physical
What it is
A yearly exam that where you and your doctor will take a look at your overall health using routine lab work, screenings, and health assessments. This is your time to ask your provider questions and work together to build a plan for your health.
What you get:
Better health outcomes and lower health care cots. Your annual physical helps to catch diseases early, making them easier for your provider to manage and treat.

Condition Care Management
What it is:
Support from your provider to manage chronic conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or heart disease
What you get:
Free visits, free lab work, and huge savings on medications to help manage your chronic condition.
Other Services
Everyone can benefit from having a primary care provider (PCP). That’s why anyone on Dot’s insurance over the age of two can use the FHC for:
General primary care
Allergy shots, vaccines, dermatology, lab services (blood draws), stitches, and more
Preventative care
Annual physicals, flu shots, skin checks, and well woman exams (all free!)
Sick visits
Treatment of common illnesses (strep throat, flu, sinus infections, etc.), including prescriptions and IV fluids.
Referrals
Help finding advanced care for things like a hospital procedure, MRI, x-ray, or specialist
